A tour that will take you on a discovery of one of the less known and characteristic burrows of the city – Trastevere. The narrow sampietrini (basalt cobble stone pavement) streets bordered by tall medieval buildings will leave you breathless; as will the small piazze that open themselves to antique churches rich with mosaics and art works. A short distance from Trastevere is the historic Jewish ghetto, one of the most antique in the world after the one in Venice. The tour concludes itself with a walk along via Giulia that will bring us directly to the area of Campo de’ Fiori, where you’ll have a chance to choose from one of the several eating establishments to have a drink or enjoy afternoon lunch.
Available language: English (with other languages on request)
Departure point: From Libreria La Feltrinelli in Largo Argentina
Tour Duration: 3 hours
Note: Please remember that if you plan to visit churches and other sacred places of worship, your attire should be adequate: pants or skirts under the knees, shoulders and back not showing.
