If you are going to visit Venice with your kids and you think they could be bored by cultural activities, look at our proposals, we are sure you will find something interesting for them!

For instance, we suggest to join our Ghost tour of Venice: this tour is sure to spook the kids and make for interesting historical background for the adults! Follow meandering pathways as you discover the mysterious side of Venice. Your guide will tell you about events that are well hidden behind antique walls. Children often like mystery and spooky atmospheres: visiting spots with a creepy atmosphere or mysterious past could be the right move to keep both you and your kids entertained.

We will be more than happy to organize a personalized Treasure hunt to let your kids explore the city and learn many things about Venice in a fun way! They will solve puzzles, find clues and discover the authenticity of Venice thanks to the help of our professional guide. We are able to personalize the hunt depending on your needs!

If your kids love water and motorboats, they will appreciate our Motorboat tour: a guide will accompany you to point out the palazzos and artistic splendor along the banks of the Grand Canal and its minor canals. After an approximate 1-hour cruise down the canals of the main island, head to San Giorgio Maggiore, best known for its 16th-century Benedictine church and views back to St. Mark’s. Stop to take amazing photos of some of Venice’s most iconic landmarks, including the golden domes of St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Gothic Palazzo Ducale. Go up the bell tower (campanile) of the Church of San Giorgio for splendid views of the city. Return to the main island after about 45 minutes, disembarking next to a café, where you are free to enjoy Venetian specialties, including some delicious ice cream, typical of Venice.

And don’t miss our Squero or boat yard tour! If you’ve seen gondolas traversing the Grand Canal in Venice or navigating their way along smaller waterways you’ve probably admired their beauty but likely have little idea of the craftsmanship involved in building and repairing these icons. On this combined 2-hour tour you’ll visit a local squero, or boatyard, and see for yourself the meticulous workmanship of master craftsmen as they build their boats. Learn about the various types of craft used in Venice, their various parts, and the materials used. Your walking tour begins next to Saint Mark’s Square, where you’ll meet the guide. You’ll head to a less well-known part of Venice on a 1-hour walking tour that ends at the squero. At the squero you’ll have a tour of the work area and learn about Venetian gondolas and how they’re made and maintained.

And finally, if you travel with kids and you wish to give them the opportunity to really know Venice and enjoy their stay with a memorable experience, book an educational activities:  your young travel companions will be guided through Venetian alleys and campi (typical Venetian squares) by specially trained educators, who will take them on fascinating, but always risk-free and safety approved, routes. The young tourists will discover the hidden details of this truly magical city, while keeping away from very busy areas, by playing games and learning about Venetian traditions and curiosities. Our tour will end with a creative workshop and a small Venetian bite to eat. Your children will always remember Venice as a spectacular open-air museum, where they can have fun and enjoy the company of other children, while exploring timeless treasures. And while they are entertained you can decide to join one of our activities for parents, in the same area as they are having fun! You will combine your interests with theirs…

We are sure that you found these activities interesting, write us to have more info or to book them!
